Aircuity OptiNet – Installation mode at Binghamton University’s Energy R&D Building
January 14, 2016
Binghamton University’s Smart Energy R&D building, following LEED Platinum standards, is coming out of the ground and slated for a 2017 completion. The $70M, 114,000 square-foot facility will, like its name suggests, help university researchers develop energy-efficient technologies. Green Building Partners, LLC is very pleased to be selected, once again, for the implementation of the Aircuity OptiNet system in the university’s newest building on the Integrated Technology Complex.
We have worked very closely with the facility’s department to help them take full advantage of the Aircuity OptiNet System in their Engineering & Science and Center of Excellence buildings. It seems only fitting that the most advanced system for demand control ventilation will be optimizing ventilation and indoor environmental quality in this energy research building. In addition to the privilege of working with the facility’s and Environmental Health & Safety staff, we would be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge our contracting partners, Siemens Industry and Panko Electric – whose cooperation on the various projects has been superb. Thank you!
